More than 500 players will participate in the 6th ASEAN+ Age-group Chess Championships, which opened in central Danang city on June 10.
As many as 190 players from the host Vietnam will join with others from many other countries in the region such as Singapore, the Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, India, the Republic of Korea, Brunei and Thailand to compete in three events of standard chess, rapid chess and blitz chess.
The championships will last until June 17./.
