Shooting team wins second medal at ASIAD

(VOV) - Marksman Nguyen Hoang Phuong brought home the first silver medal for Vietnam at the ongoing Asian Games (ASIAD 17) in Incheon, the Republic of Korea.

With 183.4 points, Phuong lost out on the gold medal to Indian rival Rai Jitu with 186.2 points.

According to the Vietnam Shooting Federation, this is the first time Hoang Phuong has taken part in an international event. His previous highest result was a gold medal at the 27th SEA Games.

With one silver and one bronze medal, Vietnam temporarily ranks fourth at the 17th ASIAD. China tops at the medal tally with 3 gold medals and one bronze.
