One hundred and four businesses were honoured in Hanoi on January 3 for their outstanding efforts to achieve steady growth in recent years.

Addressing the awards ceremony, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Le Danh Vinh noted that the award is to encourage businesses to increase their competitive capacity and build reputable brands in the international integration process.

Among the award recipients were Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group (PetroVietnam), the Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (BARD), Vietnam Paper Corporation, the Hanoi Trade Corporation, the Vietnam Beer Joint Venture Company and the Bao Minh Joint Venture Corporation.

To receive the award, businesses must earn annual revenue of more than VND100 billion, obtain a high annual growth rate, pay all their taxes and have at least 50 employees buy social insurance services.

The ceremony was held by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics and Public Administration.
