Thuy Tien could claim second place at Miss Grand International 2021
VOV.VN -Vietnamese representative Nguyen Thuc Thuy Tien is anticipated to be the first runner-up of Miss Grand International 2021, according to the official fan page of Beauty Pageants Center.
In the fourth Hot Picks released by the fan page, the contestant from Cambodia ranked in first position, followed by the beauties from Venezuela, Paraguay, and Nigeria.
The other contestants making up the Top 10 include the representatives from Brazil, Spain, Malaysia, Thailand, and Costa Rica.
Moving forward, Tien is scheduled to depart for Miss Grand International on November 16, with the final night set to take place in Thailand on December 4.
Spanish beauty website Missologo Hispano also selected the Vietnamese entrant among its top 10 hot picks for the beauty pageant.
The local beauty is most notable for making the Top 5 of Miss Vietnam 2018, whilst she later went on to represent the country at Miss International 2018, a global competition which was held in Tokyo, Japan.
Miss Grand International is one of the six major global beauty contests which is held annually, alongside Miss World, Miss Universe, Miss International, Miss Earth, and Miss Supranational.
Local representatives do have history in the competition, with Vietnamese contestant Ngoc Thao clinching a Top 20 finish during Miss Grand International 2020.
