The Binh Dinh Production, Investment, Service and Import-Export Company (PISICO) is executing an investment project to grow industrial crops in Laos’ Sekong province.

The more than US$20 million project is divided in two phases, with the first phase estimated at US$16 million.

According to PISICO General Director Nguyen An Diem, Sekong provincial authorities have allocated 10,000 ha for PISICO to plant rubber, cassava, sugarcane, and timber trees for a period of 50 years.
