The event marks the 15th anniversary of Vietnam-RoK diplomatic relations.

At a press briefing in Hanoi on November 11, Ahn Tae Sung, press attaché of the Rok Embassy said a wide range of activities will take place on the occasion, including the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the two countries’ information agencies, the inauguration of a Korean library at the Vietnamese National Library, an information technology exhibition, a job fair, business forum and a policy forum on international marriage and e-government.

Mr Sung said currently the RoK ranks first among foreign investors in Vietnam with total investment capital of more than US$11 billion. Two-way trade turnover between the two countries has increased ten times since the two countries established diplomatic ties.

The “Dynamic Korea in Hanoi” event is considered an important landmark in relations between the two countries.
