The Ayeyawady-Chao Phraya Mekong Economic Co-operation Strategy (ACMECS) business forum will draw more than 400 businesses from ACMECS member countries, representatives from international organisations and investors from Japan, the Republic of Korea, the US and the EU.

The forum and a dialogue between ACMECS leaders and the business community will be held at the National Convention Hall in Hanoi on November 7, announced the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI).

The ACMECS business forum, the first of its kind, is expected to create a good chance for businesses to put forward recommendations and initiatives aimed at facilitating trade, investment and tourism as well as enhancing regional economic cooperation.

These two events are part of the ACMECS leaders summit. ACMECS is comprised of Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand and Vietnam.

All the recommendations and initiatives will be presented at the dialogue of ACMECS leaders.
