Another multimedia library run by the IDECAF, the Institute for Cultural Exchange with France, opened in Ho Chi Minh City on January 6.

The IDECAF library is divided into three sections, including an audiovisual section with more than 1,500 films and photo albums by well-known photographers, a section for children with cartoons, fairy tales, songs and scientific books, and a section of language teaching materials and linguistics reference books.

With an area of 800 square metres, the library collection includes more than 20,000 books and reference documents, catering to lovers of Francophone culture and literature.

An exhibition on "A sleepless night of chameleons," a work by French writer Francoa Jarlov, will also kick off in January.
