Hong Kong enterprises eye Vietnamese gem market

The 38th Hong Kong International Jewelry Show and the 8th Hong Kong International Diamond, Gem and Pearl Exhibition are get underway at the Hong Kong International Convention and Exhibition Center (China) from July 29 to August 2.
The two exhibitions are organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council and attract the participation of more than 430 exhibitors from all over the world, including leading jewelry enterprises from Hong Kong (China), mainland China, Germany, Italy, Japan, and Singapore.
Paul Sit, General Director of Cixi Gemstone Jewelry Company - Hong Kong, highlighted Vietnam as a significant market for gemstones, saying that the nation is home many world famous gemstones such as cobalt spinel.
Moving forward, Cixi Gemstone Jewelry Company is poised to invest in the Vietnamese market, he said, while expressing hope that in the near future the company can create stronger links with the local gem market and introduce Vietnamese gems to the international market.
According to him, the overall quality and colour of Vietnamese gems are perfect and will surely prove popular among many people.
Vu Quoc Trung of the Vietnam Trade Office in Hong Kong (China) shared that the Hong Kong International Jewelry Fair is a prestigious fair in the Asia region and plenty of Vietnamese businesses are interested in the event.
The 8th Hong Kong International Diamond, Gem and Pearl Exhibition mainly focuses on diamonds, precious stones, pearls, and other raw materials.
