Minister of Information and Communications Le Doan Hop has held talks with visiting Chairman of the Bulgarian State Agency for Information Technology and Communications Plamen Vatchkov to discuss detailed measures for promoting Vietnamese-Bulgarian ties in the area of Information Technology and Telecommunications.
The two parties agreed to press home their own advantages and raise their traditional cooperation on a par with their potential.
The two ministers signed the minutes of the meeting, which focused on cooperation in the exchange of state management policies, training and research, and two-way trade in services of information and software designing.
The Bulgarian minister later met with Deputy Prime Minister Hoang Trung Hai, who highlighted the results of the meeting between Mr Plamen Vatchkov and Mr Le Doan Hop.
During their stay in Vietnam, the Bulgarian delegation had worked with the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Central Commission for Information and Education, and IT and telecommunications-related enterprises such as VNPT, Viettel, VTC, FPT and CMC.
