PM receives Cambodian outgoing ambassador

VOV.VN - On July 25 in Hanoi, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc received Cambodian Ambassador Hul Phany, whose term in Vietnam comes to an end.

The Vietnamese government leader said the traditional friendship and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Cambodia will continue to develop for the benefits of each country’s people, for peace, stability and development in region and the world. 

He suggested the two sides should work closely to finalize the planting of border markers to turn their common border into a borderline of peace, cooperation and development. 

For his part, Ambassador Hul Phany glowingly spoke of Vietnam’s outstanding performance in a variety of fields especially in infrastructure.

He said his nation Cambodia places high importance on promoting the friendship and fruitful cooperation.

PM Phuc said he believes that no matter what position Mr Hul Phany will take, he will continue to contribute to consolidating the relationship between the two nations.
