Since early this year, over 1.5 million visitors have come to see Ho Chi Minh Square and Uncle Ho’s Statue in Vinh city, central Nghe An province.
The management board for celebration of Uncle Ho’s birthday (May 19) has arranged for tour guides to work in 3 shifts from 6am to 10pm to welcome large numbers of visitors.
It took 3 years to build the 11-ha Square and install the 18m-high Statue from 2000-2003.
