President Sang concludes Azerbaijan visit

(VOV) -State President Truong Tan Sang left Baku for Hanoi on May 15, concluding his three-day official visit to Azerbaijan.

Earlier the same day, Sang and his entourage toured the country’s largest terminal for oil and gas Sangachan, during which he heard Azerbaijani experts introduce their oil production process as well as reviewing oil exports from the country to neighbouring Gruzia and Turkey. 

The President also visited the Heydae Aliyev Center in Baku featuring objects related to the life and political career of Heydae Aliyev, the President of Azerbaijan from October 1993 to October 2003. 

During his trip, he attended the Vietnam-Azerbaijan business forum, and met with veteran Azerbaijani civilian and military experts who once worked in Vietnam and the Vietnamese community in the country.

On May 15, President Truong Tan Sang also met with the Vietnamese community in Azerbaijan , whom described as an inseparable part of the nation. 

He asked the Vietnam Embassy in Russia and Azerbaijan to further support the overseas Vietnamese to do business and promote Vietnam’s culture to international friends.
