Vietnam ready to facilitate German investments
(VOV) -National Assembly (NA) Vice Chairwoman Tong Thi Phong has reiterated Vietnam's willingness to support and offer favourable condition for German firms as well as those from the State of Hessen to do long-term business in the country.
At a reception for Nicola Beer, General Secretary of the Free Democratic Party (FDP) in Hanoi on December 29, Phong said her nation always treasures its relations with Germany while applauding the role of Germany in the European Union (EU).
Over the past four years, the Vietnam-Germany strategic partnership has advanced across the board, Phog said, noting that as the leading economic-financial and education centre in Germany and Europe, Hessen state plays an important role in boosting bilateral ties.
Regarding education and training cooperation between Hessen State and Vietnam through the Vietnam-Germany University project, Phong asked the state’s authorities continue their support for Vietnam.
Nicola Beerd in turn said she will work harder to step up future cooperation with Vietnam as Germany and Hessen State are greatly interested in vocational training in the country.
