Jazz concert celebrates Japan-Vietnam Friendship Year 2013

The event is also one of the activities organised to commemorate 40 years of ASEAN-Japan Friendship and Cooperation.

Founded in October 2008, the Unit Asia jazz band comprises five artists from Asian countries, including Japan, Thailand and Malaysia.

Singer Tung Duong was chosen as Singer of The Year 2011 and won the Cong Hien (Dedication) Award one year later. Vietnamese audiences were very impressed with his first performance with Unit Asia in February 2012.

Free tickets will be available from June 28 at the Japan Foundation Centre for Cultural Exchange in Vietnam on 27 Quang Trung Street, Hanoi and at the Ben Thanh Theatre on 6 Mac Dinh Chi Street, HCM City.
