Swiss, German businesses explore investment opportunities in Vietnam

Roesler, who was former vice chancellor of Germany, said that Vietnam is considered an attractive investment destination for European businesses. According to the politician of Vietnamese origin, Vietnam, Switzerland and Germany will still have great potential for stronger cooperation.

Assistant Foreign Minister Nguyen Minh Vu thanked Philipp Roesler for having arranged field trips for Swiss and German businesses to explore investment opportunities in Vietnam over the years.

He expected that Roesler would continue to make active and effective contributions to the development of friendship and cooperation between Vietnam and Switzerland.

Both host and guest examined post-pandemic economic development, Vietnam’s potential and advantages in attracting foreign direct investment (FDI) as well as policies to attract foreign investment in Vietnam.

Roesler said he would make efforts to promote relations between Vietnam and European partners in general and Switzerland in particular.
