Vietnam imports 15,872 CBU cars in first half of November

VOV.VN - The nation spent approximately US$305.29 million on importing 15,872 completely built units (CBU) cars during the first half of November, according to the latest statistics released by the General Department of Vietnam Customs.

The most imported vehicles include cars with nine seats or fewer at a total of 14,482 units worth US$266 million.

Between the beginning of the year and November 15, the country imported 144,726 CBU cars with a total value of US$3.24 billion, up 5.9% in volume and 6.4% in value compared to last year’s corresponding period.

According to the figures, Indonesia retains its place as the leading supplier with nearly 54,356 vehicles, followed by Thailand and China with 50,331 and 15,744 vehicles, respectively.
