Senior leaders show sympathy for New Zealand over shooting incidents

VOV.VN - Party General Secretary and President Nguyen Phu Trong, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc and Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh have extended messages of sympathy to New Zealand over the shooting incidents in Christchurch on March 15. 

The messages were sent to New Zealand’s Governor General Dame Patsy Reddy, Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern, and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Winston Peters. 

An attacker armed with semi-automatic weapons rampaged through two mosques in the quiet New Zealand city of Christchurch on March 15, killing 49 worshipers and wounding dozens more.
