Ambassador to Costa Rica presents credentials
(VOV) - Vietnamese ambassador to Costa Rica Nguyen An Duy has presented his credentials to President Laura Chinchilla Miranda.
At a January 18 reception for ambassador An Duy, President Miranda praised Vietnam’s tremendous achievements as well as its international status while saying that Costa Rica regards Vietnam a reliable friend and partner.
Costa Rica and Vietnam have many similarities and great potential that needs to be tapped to develop their cooperative relations, Miranda said.
She also hopes that the relations between the two countries will enter a new stage of development.
Ambassador An conveyed best regards from President Truong Tan Sang to the Costa Rican President and affirmed that Vietnam wants to boost the ties of friendship and cooperation with Costa Rica.
