Mazut oil 180CST 3.5S was priced at VND14,429 per kg, marking a fall of VND50 per kg.

Since the beginning of this year, the two ministries have revised petrol prices 10 times, with six increases, three falls and one kept unchanged.

On April 3, the global average price of Brent crude oil and WTI crude oil hovered up at US$84.2 and US$79.9 per barrel, respectively, according to oilprice.com.

Many experts said that the oil market is rallying as fears of a global banking crisis eased after banks in the US and Europe were bailed out.
