Electronics & Smart Appliances Expo underway in Ho Chi Minh City
VOV.VN - The International Electronics & Smart Appliances Expo (IEAE) officially opened in Ho Chi Minh City on July 19 alongside two other expos, namely the Vietnam International Gifts & Housewares Expo (IGHE) and the Vietnam International Baby Products & Toys Expo (IBTE) 2023.
More than 3,000 product samples were showcased across 500 pavilions at the expo chain featuring high-quality criteria in terms of trending designs and convenient technology, with the ultimate aim of providing visitors with great experiences.
Addressing the opening ceremony, Leo Mo, deputy general director of Chaoyu Expo Company, member of the organizing board, emphasised that Vietnam is currently an emerging market that boasts great potential for consumption, especially for imported goods.
Most notably, Chinese products displayed throughout the event are expected to diversify the structure of consumer products in the Vietnamese market, contributing to promoting economic and trade exchanges between Chinese and Vietnamese firms, he noted.
Meanwhile, To Ngoc Son, deputy director of the Africa-West Asia-South Asia Market Department, pointed out that with the participation of prestigious manufacturing companies, the series of expos will create further opportunities for trade exchanges for the business community in the country and the world as a whole.
The expo also serves as a platform to introduce cutting-edge technologies as well as diversified products and services to customers, thereby helping to improve the living comfort of Vietnamese people, he added.
This year’s International Electronics & Smart Appliances Expo attracted the participation of 192 exhibitors, mainly from China’s Guangdong and Zhejiang provinces.
