Indonesia, IDB join hands for development projects

The Islamic Development Bank (IDB) is working with the National Association of Indonesian Consultants on several Indonesian consultation projects.

IDB President Ahmad Mohamed Ali Al-Madani said his bank would provide support for the Indonesian government in infrastructure development, hunger eradication, poverty reduction, and improving living conditions.

In 2015, the IDB carried out 36 projects to provide millions of dollars of aid for both its member and non-member nations.

The IDB, launched in October 1975, has 56 member nations.

It aims to boost economic and social development among its member nations and the Islamic community, in line with Islamic Law.
