The Ho Chi Minh Museum’s branches in the Central Highland provinces of Gia Lai and Kon Tum organised a photography exhibition on August 17 to highlight the achievements and prospects of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and welcome the 1,000th anniversary of Thang Long-Hanoi.

On display are nearly 140 documentary photographs with captions featuring the great victory of the August 1945 Revolution that was a turning point in the nation’s history in the 20th century and epitomises the patriotic tradition of the Vietnamese people.

The exhibition also introduced the people’s unyielding struggle under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam against foreign aggressors. It aimed to promote the movement of building a powerful and transparent Communist Party in Vietnam.
