UNICEF Vietnam has teamed up with the central city of Da Nang in a project to assist children with physical disabilities to reintegrate into society.
They organized a seminar on January 30 to seek ways to carry out the US$412.000 project effectively.

UNICEF Vietnam resident representative Jesper Morch said that his organization is targeting the project towards children with deformities in Da Nang city with the aim of helping related agencies further improve their capacity and raise public awareness of the need to take care of the disadvantaged children, Mr Morch said.

The project focuses on developing functional rehabilitation facilities and enhancing local healthcare workers’ capacity to early detect illness in kids.
