Arsenal‘s line-up for friendly match in Vietnam

(VOV) -The English Premier League FC Arsenal has announced the list of 24 players selected for the upcoming friendly match with Vietnam’s national football team on July 17.

Among them are Thomas Vermaelen, Abou Diaby, and Santi Cazorla.

Nacho Monreal cannot join the match for some technical reasons, like half-back Thomas Vermaelen, Emmanuel Frimpong and Abou Diaby due to injuries and Santi Cazorla and Nacho Monreal who are busy preparing for the Confederations Cup 2013.

Despite the absence of several best players, the selected team heading for Vietnam includes Mikel Arteta, Jack Wilshere, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Tomas Rosicky, Aaron Ramsey, Lukas Podolski, Olivier Giroud and Theo Walcott.

Arsenal’s coach Arsene Wenger hopes youngsters like Chuba Akpom, Kristoffer Olsson, Ignasi Miquel, Serge Gnabry, and Chuks Aneke will become more experienced after their overseas tour.

Arsenal will have a friendly match with the Indonesian squad at Gelora Bung Karno Staditum on July 14.

The 24-member Arsenal line-up for the friendly game includes:

Goalies: Wojciech Szcsezny, Lukasz Fabianski, Damian Martinez

Defenders: Bacary Sagna, Per Mertesacker, Laurent Koscielny, Kieran Gibbs, Ignasi Miquel, Carl Jenkinson.

Midfielders: Tomas Rosicky, Mikel Arteta, Jack Wilshere, Oxlade Chamberlain, Aaron Ramsey, Miyaichi Ryo, Gnabry Serge, Kristoffer Olsson, Thomas Eisfeld, Chuks Aneke, Gedion Zelaem.

 Strikers: Lukas Podoski, Oliver Giroud, Theo Walcott, Akpom Chuba.
