Speaking at an April 6 reception for the Secretary of the Bac Ninh provincial Party Committee, Tran Van Tuy, PM Thammavong highly valued the cooperation between Bac Ninh province and Lao localities, especially Hua Phan province.
He said the collaboration between the two provinces demonstrates the special relationship and comprehensive cooperation between the two Parties, States, Governments, and peoples for the best interests of both nations.
Tuy expressed his admiration for the progress of development in Laos, which has been accomplished by the Lao people under the sound leadership of the Party and Government. He also committed to helping Hua Phan upgrade its infrastructure for agricultural production, mining and processing industries.
Bac Ninh will also help Hua Phan build a primary school and grant scholarships to students from Hua Phan studying in Vietnam, Tuy said.
