Sixty-three people have been taken into custody after Ho Chi Minh City police discovered a prostitution ring on November 24 night.

Among those taken into custody, the police arrested nine Republic of Korean (RoK) clients and nine waitresses in the Super Bowl karaoke bar in Tan Binh District.

The bar is owned by 54 year-old Kim Hi Soo, also from the RoK.

The police said the ring has been providing prostitutes to foreign clients, most from the RoK, at a cost of US$100-500.

The investigation is continuing.
