The HCM City Computers Association (HCA) held a ceremony on July 14 to present gold medals and 5 Information and Communication Technology (ICT) awards to 41 outstanding Vietnamese businesses.

This year’s Gold Medals and 5 ICT awards went to those businesses with a minimum turnover of VND20 billion operating in the field of software, digital services and training, and others with a turnover of VND50 billion in the fields of hardware, retail and integrated systems services.

The General Secretary of the HCA, Pham Thien Nghe, said that the award winner turnover account for nearly 40 percent of the ICT sector’s total revenues, proving the important role of ICT businesses in the country.

The Financing and Promoting Technology Corporation (FPT) still takes the lead, followed by Samsung Vina, CMS, HPT and five new Vietnamese information technology companies including the Tan Binh Electronics Joint Stock Company, Vien Son Information Technology Company, Global Cybershort and Sai Gon Advanced Technology Institute.
