Cuban export Facundo Felizola Duany will coach the national boxing team at the National Sports and Physical Training in the central city of Da Nang under a one-year contract.
The 52-year-old coach, who is working for a boxing training centre in Havana, has 12 years of experience. He was awarded the best coach title in the 2000 Cuban National Championship.
Coach Duany is expected to be chief coach of the Vietnam national team at the upcoming 25th Southeast Asian (SEA) Games in Laos in December.
