The exhibition will be opened on April 30 by the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology and the Can Tho City Museum to display artefacts fromVietnamese weddings over the last 100 years.

The event will offer a chance for people in the Mekong Delta to get to know about the unity in diversity of Vietnamese marital customs and rites, as well as the changes that have occurred to various rituals.

Both the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology and the Can Tho City Museum are expected to promote public engagement in the movement entitled "Sharing the images of Vietnamese weddings in the 20th century".

The exhibition is part of the activities to celebrate the liberation of southern Vietnam and reunification of the country.
