An international car and motorbike fair - AUTOTECH 2006 - will be held at the Hanoi Cultural and Friendship Palace from June 6-9. The event is co-sponsored by the Ministry of Transport, the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the Asian Fair and Trade Promotion Joint Stock Company.

Among hundreds of domestic and foreign companies to participate in the fair are firms with such well-known trademarks as Vinamotor, DAMCO, VEAM, Ford Vietnam, Mekong Auto, Suzuki and Honda.

Covering an area of 4,000 square metres, the fair will display local and global prominent achievements in the automobile industry. In addition, enterprises will have opportunities to meet with relevant Vietnamese Government agencies during seminars or workshops.
