The Mexico-Vietnam Cooperation and Friendship Institute has agreed to enhance cooperation in socio-economic, trade and cultural fields between the two countries.

During a meeting in Mexico City on April 27, the institute executive board stressed the need to build up contacts with the Vietnamese people to gain a better understanding of their tradition and culture.

The meeting agreed to keep abreast of Vietnam’s renewal process and to identify potential areas of bilateral cooperation and investment.

On the occasion, the institute opened a photo exhibition and held a roundtable workshop on Vietnam.
