A conference on dissemination of laws on religion and belief was held in Ho Chi Minh City on May 30 for more than 100 representatives of religious organisations, which have not been recognised according to the Ordinance on Religion and Belief.

The conference, held by the Government Commission for Religious Affairs under the Government programme on dissemination and education of laws on religion and belief, briefed the participants of the Party and State's policies on religion, particularly the main content of the Ordinance on Religion and Belief, which consists of six chapters, 41 articles.

The participants were also informed about the required legal procedures to register for activities of religious organisations and believers' religious practices.
