As many as 191 companies from 29 countries and territories around the world will display their products at the second Vietnam International Feed and Livestock Industry Expo (Vietstock) 2006 scheduled for Ho Chi Minh City from December 6-8.
The exhibits will include cattle-feeds, veterinary medicines and various equipment used in animal husbandry, said Dr. Hoang Kim Giao, vice director of the Department for Livestock Production under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, at a press briefing in Hanoi on December 4.
Vietstock 2006 will offer local breeders, feed producers and meat processors a chance to access advanced technologies and the latest products.
According to the British Embassy in Hanoi, a delegation from the British Pig Association (BPA) will also take part in the event. The delegation will comprise representatives from Meriden Animal Health Ltd., Taylor Livestock Consultancy Ltd., UPB Ltd., Middleton Livestock Services Ltd. and Positive Action Publications.
