Construction work started on a VND500 billion (US$31.25 million) urban project in Lang Son city, northern mountainous Lang Son province, on May 25.
The 51ha complex, including an economic, trade and tourism area, a Vietnam-China border trade area, and a high-rise apartment area, is jointly built by a company in Lang Son and two companies from China’s Guangxi province.
The complex, scheduled for completion in 2013, is expected to become part of the Nanning (China)-Lang Son-Hanoi-Hai Phong-Quang Ninh trade economic corridor.
