The Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) announced on October 23 that, next year’s First Division Football title will be named: “The Ton Can Tho Cup”.

Next season’s league will comprise 14 teams: An Do Group An Giang, Binh Dinh, Can Tho City, Dong Nai Berjara, Huda Hue, Hanoi ACB, NHS Quang Nam, Coal-Quang Ninh, Fico Cement Tay Ninh, TDC Binh Duong, TPK Tien giang, Ho Chi Minh City, Thanh Hoa and TTBD Viettel.

Ton Hoa Sen sponsored the development of Vietnam referee programmes and was sponsor of the national squad during their participation in the 2007 AFF Cup. The company has shown its civic responsibility by sponsoring the disadvantaged children’s football tournament and the SOS children’s village football tournament.
