The Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) hosted a seminar on the Hungarian market in Hanoi on July 15 to help Vietnamese businesses increase their exports to this Eastern European country.
The seminar, co-organised by the Asian Centre, highlighted business opportunities as well as the advantages and disadvantages of Vietnamese entrepreneurs in operation.
Asian Centre Managing Director, Jancso Janos proposed a number of measures to assist Vietnamese businesses access the eastern European market.
Hungary is currently attracting a large number of foreign investors thanks to its simplified administrative procedures and its convenient location on the commercial route that connects Europe and the Asia-Pacific region.
The country imports mostly coffee, tea, pepper, rice, footwear, garments and food materials from Vietnam.
