A workshop held in the RoK’s Pusan city on October 24 highlighted possibilities and opportunities to expand cooperation between the Republic of Korea (RoK) and Vietnam.

The workshop was organized by the Association of Vietnam-loving People in the RoK (VESAMO) in the fifth consecutive year to boost exchange between people of the two countries.

 

VESAMO Chairman Lee Sang Min said that the workshop will be a new momentum to boost the friendship and cooperation between the two countries.

On the occasion, Vietnamese Ambassador to the RoK Pham Tien Van announced the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organisations’ decision to present the medal “For Peace and Friendship” to Chairman Lee for his contribution to the development of bilateral cooperation.

For his part, Chairman Lee stressed his special feelings towards the Vietnamese people and expressed his pleasure to contribute to the bilateral cooperative ties.
