The Prime Minister has granted permission to the Vietnam Cinema Association to embark on a US$252,000 film-making training project funded by the US’s Ford Foundation.
The project’s experimental phase was launched in January to help create a community of amateur film-makers, including students from all over the country.
The project aims to provide more cinematic knowledge for young people to help them understand more about the arts in general and cinema in particular.
