Ireland will give Vietnam EUR87.5 million under the Ireland-Vietnam Country Strategy Plan (CSP) for the 2007-2010 period, said Sean Hoy, Head of the Irish Embassy’s Development Department on November 9.

The CSP will be conducted in close combination with Vietnam’s socio-economic development plan in the 2006-2010 period, focusing on poverty reduction and assistance of the private sector.

The programme will give priority to people with disabilities, especially children.
