The Prime Minister has approved a US$1.2 million foreign aid project to build roads for northern mountainous provinces.
Of the amount, US$1 million will come from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) in non-refundable aid.

He has also agreed on a project to strengthen the capacity of Vietnamese Government agencies and accelerate administration reform in addition to the list of UNDP-funded projects during 2006-2010.

Another project to “Raise vocational training capacity for the Medical Equipment Technicians’ School” got the green light to go ahead with EUR254,477 from the Italian non-governmental organisation Cooperazione e sviluppo onlus (CESVI) and EUR817,661 from the Italian Foreign Ministry.
