PM hosts gala popularising Vietnamese culture

Speaking at the event, PM Phuc said ASEAN has become a community with increasingly closer connectivity, and the WEF’s choosing ASEAN for a forum has proved the bloc’s role and stature. 

He expressed his wish that leaders, businesspeople and international visitors will travel to Vietnam many times to gain an insight into the country, its people, culture and tourist attractions. 

The PM and participants toasted for a world of peace, stability and development and an ASEAN community of solidarity, unity and prosperity. 

Guests were treated to UNESCO-recognised music performances such as Hue royal court music, Bac Ninh love duets, choi singing, as well as chamber and jazz music performances by Vietnamese artists well-known worldwide. 

Music and dance performances by artists from the ASEAN Community were also staged.

They also had a chance to enjoy traditional Vietnamese cuisine.
