Petrol prices cut by VND900 per litre ahead of Tet holiday
VOV.VN - The retail prices of oil and petrol declined in the latest adjustment made at 15:00 p.m. on February 8 by the ministries of Finance and Industry and Trade.
According to the latest changes, the price of biofuel E5 RON92 was capped at VND22,120 per litre, dropping by VND790, while that of RON95-III was cut by VND900 per litre to no more than VND23,260.
Meanwhile, oil prices were also adjusted down, with diesel oil and kerosene being sold for a maximum of VND20,700 per litre and VND20,580 per litre, down VND290 and VND340, respectively. The mazut oil price also dropped by VND490 to no more than 15,590 per kilogramme.
In this price adjustment, the two ministries decided not to extract petrol oil prices from the price stabilisation fund.
