The inauguration of the Embassy of Ireland in Hanoi will help boost the development of the two countries' cooperation in politics, economics, culture and society, said Irish Minister of Communications, Marine and Natural Resources Noel Dempsey at the opening ceremony on November 29.

During his visit to Vietnam to attend the Meeting of ASEM Information and Communication Technology Ministers in Hanoi from November 28 to December 11 Minister Noel Dempsey has presented 160 historical and cultural books to the National Library of Vietnam.
