Vietnamese Embassy in Russia hosts media meeting
A meeting with media workers was held on June 21 by the Vietnamese Embassy in Russia to mark the 86th anniversary of Vietnam’s Revolutionary Press Day.
The meeting was attended by media workers from overseas bureaux of Radio the Voice of Vietnam (VOV), Vietnam News Agency (VNA), Vietnam Television (VTV), representatives from the Vietnamese community and the Vietnamese Association in Russia.
In his speech, Vietnamese ambassador Pham Xuan Son highlighted the Vietnamese revolutionary press’s significant contributions to national development and applauded the activities of correspondents in Russia.
With a high sense of responsibility for the community, they have contributed many good news stories that have a positive impact on the life of overseas Vietnamese.
Ambassador Son praised their tireless efforts to keep overseas Vietnamese well informed of the real situation in the homeland as well as policies and guidelines in the country of residence.
