A training course has been held in central Khanh Hoa province to improve needed skills for 35 female candidates for the upcoming 12^th National Assembly election from central and Central Highlands provinces.

The participants were trained on the duties and responsibilities required of an NA deputy, including ensuring gender equality in politics, collecting and analyzing information, making action plans, communicating with constituents, developing ways to disseminate information.

The four-day course was organised by the Vietnam Committee for Women's Advancement under the sponsorship of ActionAid International and the Norwegian Embassy.
