Japanese cherry blossoms shine in Hanoi

VOV.VN - More than 30,000 branches and trees of Japanese cherry blossoms have been taken in Ly Thai To Statue area next to Hoan Kiem lake in preparation for the opening ceremony of the 2019 Japan Cherry Blossom Festival slated for March 29.

Thorough preparations have been put in the staging for the opening night of 2019 Japan Cherry Blossom Festival
The festival is co-organized by the Hanoi People’s Committee and the Japanese embassy in Vietnam
The festival introduces Japanese tea culture and traditional games such as Kendama at Ly Thai To flower garden

    More than 30,000 branches and trees of cherry blossoms are on display at the festival.

 
 

   Japanese experts take meticulous care of cherry trees  before the festival.

 

    The highlight of the event is to pick the Goodwill Ambassador for Japanese Cherry Blossoms.

 
 
 
Some miniatures of famous tourist attractions such as China’s Great Wall, Japan’s Mount Fuji and Vietnam’s Pavilion of Literature are showcased at the event
A seminar to promote investment and tourism between Hanoi and Japan is planned on March 29
The festival is open to visitors from 22:00 from March 29-31
