Huynh Anh, head coach of the Vietnamese team said that 16 athletes will compete in five important events such as the men’s 65kg and 60kg, the women’s 46 and 52kg and fitness.

Pham Van Mach, champion of the World Body Building and Nguyen Van Lan, champion of the Asian Beach Games in Bali, Indonesia are the golden hopes for the team.

Other great hopes for gold medals are Dinh Kim Loan, last year’s Asian champion and Nguyen Thi Mi Linh.

Vietnam is expected to win 2 golds in the Asian Championship and 3 golds in the South East Asian Championship respectively.
