The Vietnam Lawyers' Association (VLA) on March 29 announced the establishment of a Vietnam-China-ASEAN Legal Information and Consultancy Centre.

The centre aims to help the VLA provide information and consultancy for individuals and institutions in Vietnam and from other member countries of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) and China, said VLA President Pham Quoc Anh.

These services will help customers solve problems emerging from business, production and services, thus contributing to strengthening fruitful relations between Vietnam, China and the entire ASEAN for mutual development and prosperity.

The centre will be responsible for gathering diverse information on legal documents and enforcement as well as the legal system and measures to solve trade disputes among partners.

The opening ceremony was attended by Deputy Foreign Minister Nguyen Phu Binh and Chinese and ASEAN diplomatic corps.
