A ceremony to grant 53 scholarships to outstanding students from five universities in the south will be held at HCM City University of Technology on October 28.

The Toyota Scholarship 2006 programme has offered 120 full scholarships worth VND240 million to technical students from 12 universities in Hanoi, HCM City, Da Nang, Hai Phong, Thai Nguyen, Hung Yen and Can Tho.

Especially, this year’s programme will also provide 20 scholarships to students studying in the environmental faculty.

The TVF has so far granted scholarships worth nearly VND1.9 billion to more than 900 outstanding students from universities nationwide.
